Bradley W. Sizer, 80, died peacefully in his sleep at Larkin Community Hospital, Miami, Fla., on June 3, 2019.
The Memorial Service will take place at 2 p.m. July 15, at Calvary Cemetery. Father James Burning officiating. American Legion Post 92 will present honors. A gathering of family and friends will follow.
Bradley was born May 7, 1939. His parents were Oren M. and Glendoris Sizer. He received an associate's degree, was a fireman and Captain in the Fire Department in Rochester until he retired. Brad also served in the National Guard. He spent his retirement years in Florida.
Survivors include a sister, Vikki (Dean) Sandvik of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; a brother, Mike (Gail Barrett) Sizer of Fort Myers, Fla.; nieces, Stephanie Berens and Trisha Sizer; and nephew, Jeffrey Berens.
Brad was beloved not only by family but also by so many friends. His generosity and willingness to help others, no matter what, was seen over and over throughout his life. He would always go that extra mile. He loved the water and his beloved dogs.
