Cheryl C. Ellison, of Cary, Ill., formerly of Rochester, died peacefully at her home Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018.
Cheryl C. Pfaff graduated from John Marshall High School in 1962. After graduation, she went on to pursue a career as a flight attendant and worked for United Airlines for 44 years before retiring. Throughout her career, she was able to see the world, she met many famous people along her way, including Martin Luther King Jr. and the Rat Pack.
Cheryl loved all animals, gardening, and crafting. Her greatest joy was her daughters and her five amazing grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cheryl is survived by daughters, Courtney (Ken) Peters and Christine (LB) Ellison; and her five grandchildren, Alexis, Avery, Sydney, Logan, and Wren, all of Cary, Ill. She is also survived by sisters, Cynthia Pfaff Danewick of Rochester and Suzanne (Russ) Bockstedt of Minneapolis; brother, Robert (Rebecca) Pfaff, of Westminster, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert and Cynthia Pfaff; brother, William Pfaff; and special aunt, Christine George.
