Funeral services for Evelyn Weick will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pine Island. The Rev. Marie Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Mahler Chapel in Pine Island, and will continue one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Burial will be be at the Oronoco Cemetery.

Evelyn Weick, 91, of Pine Island, and formerly of Mazeppa, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island.

Evelyn Helen Schultz was born Aug. 28, 1928, in Wabasha, the daughter of Frank and Pearl Schultz. She was educated during her grade-school years in Hammond and then attended high school in Rochester. She married Lawrence Rollie in 1946. He died in 1972. She married Charles Weick in 1974, and he survives.

Evelyn worked in various jobs in Rochester, including Neisner's at Miracle Mile, Saint Marys Hospital, Sears and Telex. She enjoyed bowling, pie baking, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pine Island, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Oronoco Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Weick of Mazeppa; daughters, Judy Rollie of Mazeppa, and Connie Rollie of Rochester; a son, Jim (Wendy) Rollie of Oronoco; son-in-law, Dale Christopherson of Ostrander; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters-in-law, also survive, Betty Schultz of Zumbrota, and Irene Schultz of Rochester.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Rollie; son, Edward Rollie; daughter, Laurie Christopherson; and 10 brothers and sisters.
