Jamie Boeff, 42, of Rochester, died by suicide on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, in Rochester. A celebration of life will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 501 Second St. NW, Hayfield, MN 55940.

Jamie Michael Boeff was born on June 25, 1976, in Austin. He graduated from Hayfield High School in 1994. Jamie worked for Western Digital, Mayo Clinic and Rochester Public School in the I.T. department. He received his Bachelor of Science in information technology from Western Governors University. On March 30, 2013, he married Courtney Lawson at Sontes in Rochester. Jamie enjoyed role play games and always was learning about technology, including 3-D printing and more.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Courtney Lawson, of Rochester; parents, Diane Boley and Larry “Fuji” Holtan, of Hayfield; brothers, Jared (Melissa) Holtan and Josh (Jonni) Holtan, both of Rochester.
