Joyce M. Tottingham, 88, of Rochester, formerly of Eyota, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at Rochester Health Services East.
Joyce was born July 7, 1931, in Rochester to Bryce D. and Velma B. (Kirkwood) Tottingham.
Joyce graduated from Eyota High School. She lived in Eyota until December of 1978, when she moved to Woodside Nursing Home (now Rochester East) in Rochester.
Joyce worked at ABC (Ability Building Center) for 15 years, from 1982 until she retired in 1997.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joyce was preceeded in death by her parents, Bryce and Velma; brothers, Keith and Howard Sr.; sisters-in-law Audrey (Seifert) and Lavonne (Fenske); nephew, Howard Jr.; and great-nephew, Heath Thomas.
Joyce was an avid bingo player. She also loved her time working at ABC and spending time with her two best friends, Johnny and Betty. Joyce loved her time with everyone who worked at Rochester East. They were so good to her and visited with her.
A private burial will be at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Eyota.
Memorials are preferred to Seasons Hospice.
