Mild weather to start off the new year

Expect a quiet day ahead. Under a mostly cloudy sky we'll warm up to the upper 20s with light winds. Saturday will be similar to today's weather, but a little more sunshine is expected. Our highs will get a little boost early next week as we warm into the lower 30s on Sunday and mid 30s for Monday through Wednesday. A system looks to develop in the central US late Tuesday into Wednesday bringing our next chance of precipitation to the area. This may come in the form of light rain or snow and will be determined on how this next low pressure system develops.
