Rain turning to snow before the end of the week

Rain will slide eastward early Thursday morning with the midday hours staying dry.

Moisture will wrap around the large area of low pressure moving through the region today. This will lead to another round of precipitation arriving in the Rochester area later today. This looks to start off as rain mixed with snow and then turn over to mainly snow tonight. We may wake to areas of light snow and blowing snow Friday morning. Watch for the snow to turn to rain mixed with snow Friday afternoon. This weekend looks cold with lower to mid-30s for high temperatures.
