Winter Weather Advisory issued for Southeast Minnesota. How much snow will we get?

Expect heavy, wet snow along with some gusty winds and drifting, followed by perhaps some light icing.

Plan on travel impacts late tonight through Monday as a winter storm moves through the area.

Expect heavy, wet snow along with some gusty winds and drifting, followed by perhaps some light icing.

Most, if not all of the area should see some accumulating snow, highest amounts are expected to remain west of the Mississippi River.

Hazard: Accumulating heavy, wet snow; freezing rain; blowing and drifting snow.

Impact: Slippery roadway and walkway conditions from snow and freezing rain. Cardiac health concerns from shoveling heavy, wet snow. Reduced driving visibility from blowing snow.
